Have you ever been tempted to do something just because your friends are doing it? I know I have. Jesus went though temptation when Satan was tempting Jesus in the desert and he stayed strong. Next time you are tempted to do what your friends do talk to Jesus or a trusted adult and do the opposite be the influence to them tell them to get ice cream instead of doings drugs, you will feel silly doing it but God will reward you for doing what is right.
Matthew 4:1-4 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
