What is true character?

Let's take a minute for some good old soul-searching. Which do you think is more important: looks or character? Winning the Miss Congeniality award can seem less thrilling than being crowned Miss America. That's the way it was in Vashti's day. Her refusal to parade herself in front of her husband and his drunken buddies showed character. It also led to her being fired as queen. In a day when looks seem to be valued over character, many people are tempted to devalue character. But genuine character- inner beauty-never goes out of style with God.
